To know not what you thought you knew
To realize you never did
To sing the words that once had meaning
To realize they now mean nothing
Time can heal but time can’t fix
something broken to begin with
Vibrant colors danced with your heart,
but swirl and stop at black
Grey skies not quite shining like they do
when with love & ignorance
